I picked up another piece of studio pottery for $2 at the local Hospice Thrift. It’s chillaxing with the new Equus poster, big geode and other thrifty pottery on the DIY shelf.

I’m addicted to cheap ceramics.

I picked up this vintage framed EQUUS poster for $10 at the Palm Springs Revival Thrift. All I really knew about Equus was that Harry Potter got naked and horses were involved.

A little research revealed it to be designed by Gilbert Lesser in 1976. And it’s in the MOMA collection.

It’s my first poster as art and I think it’s fabulous.

Weekend, Over

This glamorous weekend was spent running around with house guests, new neighbors who like to party and thrifting like crazy. Oh, and sleeping in on a lazy Sunday morning with Iggy, lover of playtime.

Totally made up for last weeks debacle. I’m parceling these scores out in all their majesty over the week. We’ve been getting lazy and need to get working on the house again. The cooling off of fall feels made for napping instead of being productive…
