Über thanks to Apartment Therapy for posting about my DIY plumbing shelves. I can’t take all the credit, I totally just copied the Ace Hotel. BTW, the Ace actually used 1/4″ as opposed to my 1/2″ plumbing pipe…I kind of regret not going smaller…I would go smaller if I did it again.

I threw the jute TÅRNBY rug I picked up at Ikea in the living room. The cowhide that was here before ended up in the bedroom.
I like this big Ikea jute rug so far. I think I might want to layer it with a kilim or a white cowhide to break up all the brown naturalness that’s happening.

Medium Brown Leather reigns supreme. I knew it all along.
Maybe a more caramel colored sling was what I wanted originally, but these babies are going to patina nicely and they are soooo very well made.

Oh, and if you are ever in Manchester Center, Vermont be sure to visit the Circa50 store. Looks like it’s in a pretty wicked shopping area. (I didn’t know that Dansk had retail locations…awesome)
