Finally toured Taliesin West – Frank Lloyd Wright’s winter home and school in the Arizona desert.
It is a strange and beautiful place.
Also hot.
We spent the past week in Phoenix on a bit of business. There were dust storms and big skies and cacti and more dust and a string of awkwardly upsetting events. Best not to dwell on them. The maid, the cockroach and the cheerleaders will eventually bury those memories deep inside themselves, as if they never happened at all.
But, then there’s Taliesin West.
