Thrifty!

Let’s Dansk!

I picked up some vintage Dansk Kobenstyle cookware at a weirdo religious thrift store. These are the latter French production pieces, but I still love me some Jens Quistgaard design action. I have a turquoise pitcher and a small yellow pot (like this) that I never got around to posting about, but slowly and surely I’ve got to catch them all.

There is a bit of damage to the enamel, but otherwise they are in pretty good shape and only cost $10.

When I picked up this little mid century desk lamp I thought it might be designed by Gerald Thurston for Lightolier. I have a floor lamp by Thurston that I picked up ages ago that still needs to be rewired. A closer look reveals this thrifted light to be something else entirely.

(The actual Gerald Thurston lamp)

Now I have no clue what this little light could be.

But it was $3, totally brass and super sassy.

I picked up another piece of studio pottery for $2 at the local Hospice Thrift. It’s chillaxing with the new Equus poster, big geode and other thrifty pottery on the DIY shelf.

I’m addicted to cheap ceramics.
