I got a new pencil holder that solves the pressing issue of loose crazed pens messing up my pristine desk area. I acquired this corky ball of fun on Etsy from seller RabbitOhRabbit.
It fits all my criteria for desk accessories. The globe is multi-functional, elegantly designed, and totally vintage. Which I guess could be said of that picture of “Chester the Molester” as well.
Well its kind of a silly name but I stumbled on this online pillow supply store that seems to have some pretty cute designs for those that are kilim minded. At around $40 to $65 they are a little rich for my blood.
Ebay is always a good source for kilim pillows for fairly cheap. Sometimes they offer free shipping!

I’ve been wanting to replace the large Ikea Stockholm Rand rug that is in the living room for some time. You know…this one…
I bought it in the as-is section for $75 and thought I would love it more than I do. It was a bit of a stop gap solution to save my freshly refinished floors from doggy claws.
Finding a LARGE rug – something around 9 x 12 feet for less than $100 is proving to be quite difficult. Even the carpet remnant section is of no use.
I love the colors and graphic pattern of this Afghan Ghazni Kilim. But at 6 x 4 feet its just too small. If it was larger I would buy this in a second.

I love the pattern. The color? Not so much. Its sort looks like it should go in a really bland kids room in the 1980’s. Its 6 x 9ft and bidding is starting at $80 with free shipping…we might be getting closer…
